Entertainment galore at Lake Hickory. If you have never been here, please make it a point to visit once. You are going to be amazed. Be it the fun or the scares, they have given a professional touch to all. We had enough fun outside waiting and once inside it was time for a full throat screaming till the end. There were witty moments as well.

  • Top notch fun and scares

Had a great time! The actors were really engaging, lots of jump scares. The scenes in the haunted house were so detailed and well done with some really top notch scares and funs. There were lots of twists throughout the house and the sets were great.

  • Email Verified Plenty of haunts under one roof...

Went with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. I have been here before and these guys have been evolving. It is such a pleasure to see the great improvements. The ticketing booth was breathlessly designed. It was like taking us to a different world and we were made to be ready to face the spooks inside. Plenty of haunts under one roof. You got to be here to experience it. It was truly amazing.

  • Really creepy

Very fun! Cool props and decorations. This was a fun scream park! The atmosphere has been really creepy and the special effects were just awesome! The midway consists of monster parades and they were all really scary! The actors were simply amazing and they were very much dedicated to their roles. Had such a fun time.

  • Never stop visiting

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The actors were dressed up to the theme which was different in each attraction. They took us into a different world and got us engaged in their story. Will never stop visiting this place.

Superb haunt. The sets were creative, scary and realistic. The midway was filled with interesting games and events. Gift shops to explore and concession stands with yummy offers. All this while we waited! Everyone was friendly.

  • Email Verified Really haunted

We girls had a blast last night. Our group of 4 girls set out to experience horror in the Lake of Carolina Wells. As expected or more, the place turned out to be really haunted or scary. We kept shivering out of fear throughout. All the actors were great. Aliens, sea creatures and flying monsters were all dare killing. Lots of varied attraction...from Slaughterhouse to Nightmare Factory and Shipwrecked we loved them all. The best scare I got was from the Extinction…I couldn’t sleep at night and stayed awake till dawn. Overall, we all had a great experience; haunted though!

  • Amazing unique scares

Lake Hickory Haunt had some unique scares. The 3D clown House was really amazing. The Freddy gave us some nice scares. The sets, props as well as the decors were great. The cannibals in the Slaughter House and the undead pirates in the Shipwrecked really frightened my wife. The visual effects were good as well. It also had some less intense scares. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check it out.

  • Real meaning of scare

Wow...the real meaning of scare! We had the most awesome time at Lake Hickory Haunts and got scared from the first to the last scene. The attractions like the Nightmare Factory and the Extinction were just too scary yet my favorite. I would recommend this trail to anyone loves to get scared and I would recommend you come in groups and have a great time in there.

  • Best Haunt in the Carolina's

I have visited Lake Hickory Haunts every year since 2013. Their show, customer service, and scares are phenomenal. But this year, they truly have outdone themselves! I can't believe how great LHH is, after only 6 years of operation. This year, I visited the first week of October, and November 4 for Black Out! Black out was a completely unique experience than the regular show... The regular haunt tour is jaw dropping, with the best sets, actors, special FX, and costumes I've ever seen. The tour took us 45 minutes to complete. My favorite attraction they have is Extinction, it feels like you've just been thrown into the Aliens movie, and the Creature of the Black Lagoon at the same time. Lake Hickory Haunts is worth way more than what they charge. I recommend getting the VIP Pass! We were treated like royalty, and got a free t-shirt, and to play the new (awesome) escape game, and we played Dizzy Darts (really unique). Anyways, I could talk about this haunt for days... Just trust me and go experience it for yourself, you won't regret it! Thank you Lake Hickory Haunts!!!

  • Email Verified Top rated haunt

I should say Lake Hickory Haunts well deserved to be one of the top rated haunted attractions in the state. Every detail of it is so perfect. Every character played his/her part so well. So much to see that it is hard to see everything in just one night. The Curse of the Mummy and Can you solve this Riddle are the most enjoyable parts of this place. Worth the dollars we spent. A scary day out with ghosts.

  • Creepy horrifying place

This has been the best haunted experience I have been for years. To tell, it was like I was completely in to a different set up world. Just awesome. The part I enjoyed the most was the 3D Room. The Extinction and Junkyard was creepy and horrifying. Lake Hickory Haunts indeed is the best place with great people. Worth the money we paid. The props, the characters and everything looked just wow. Awesome place. Would love to come back again anytime.

  • No 1 haunt...5 stars

I and friends visited the Lake Hickory Haunt this Halloween. It had lots of scary attractions that keeps you on your toes. The Nightmare Factory was very creepy. The characters Dr Death and the Evil Nurses were really interesting. The clowns in the Big Top Circus gave us some nice scares. The Slaughter House was very creepy. The cannibals in the Slaughter house with all the blood around was a spine chilling sight. The Lair of the Undead also got some scary actors. The undead pirates in Shipwrecked could freak you out. I must say all the actors deserve 5 star. I recommend this
