Dating back to the 1770's, this home has a few ghost stories surrounding it. One involved an 8-year-old boy who was left in the care of the owners while the rest of his family went away on a trip. The family was lost at sea and the young boy passed away from grief inside the home. His spirit is said to appear on occasion. Another story surrounds a young woman who fell in love with a sea captain. He once brought her a bottle of exotic perfume when he returned and he when he left, she watched him from the window as he entered a tavern and came out with another girl. The young woman was heartbroken, so she poisoned herself by drinking the perfume he got for her. Her spirit has been spotted watching from the window on summer nights.
